Located near Washington Park, this is a beautiful, bright home with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is the upper level of an up/down duplex. During the remodeling in 2004, we discovered and refinished the original maple floors, and wood floors are throughout the home except the bathroom. The bathroom was restored to period-correct, with the original refinished claw-foot tub, and matching pedestal sink and pedestal toilet. Tile floors and tile wainscoting round out the high-level restoration.

The modern kitchen has high cabinets with crown molding, gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, walk-in pantry, and tile countertops. The dining room has a large bay window, and large windows to let all the sun inside. The living room has built-in oak and leaded-glass cabinets. Natural oak trim is everywhere, including crown molding, window and door casings, base moldings and built-ins.
